MoH Refuses to Provide IHCHR with No. of Martyrs & Injuries


-       We hold the Ministry of Health full responsibility for its refusal to provide us with the numbers of wounded and martyrs and we consider this misleading of the public opinion and goes against the principle of transparency and the right to access information, thus we will file a lawsuit because the matter is contrary to the Commission Law No. (53) of 2008 amended.


 

-       The deputy director of the IHCHR Office in Maysan came under fire and was taken to al-Sadr Hospital by the monitoring team accompanied him at the site of the protests.
